Join us for an afternoon of discussion, chai and Ayurvedic sweet treats as we welcome Tim Mitchell to our Balwyn studio to talk all things Vedic Meditation, stress, and why it’s so important to allow ourselves to deeply rest.
Tim is one of the most experienced and renowned teachers of Vedic Meditation in Australia, and after spending the last 7 years teaching and living in Europe we are so happy to welcome Tim back home in Melbourne.
In this special 90-minute talk Tim will offer us a deeper understanding of the mind and body and the effects of stress, he will explain what Vedic meditation is, the technique and why it is so effective, and how it benefits not only our mind but our overall health, wellbeing and longevity.
Vedic Meditation is a simple and effortless daily practice that spontaneously calms the mind and body from the agitation of stress and fatigue. People from all walks of life and all ages can enjoy the immediate and long ranging benefits that include things like reduced tension and anxiety, increased resistance to stress, increased energy, reduced insomnia…just to name a few.
After hearing from Tim and gaining an understanding of Vedic meditation and its application you may like to chat to Tim further about taking up the practice and learning the technique in a one-on-one course with him (Tim’s courses are offered outside of Light Space Yoga). There will be no meditation in this 90-minute talk – just a chance to soak up some knowledge, be inspired to bring something beautiful and profound into your life, and chat over a cuppa and a sweet treat.
